Job Description

The Transportation Vehicle Inspector plays a critical role in safeguarding public safety by inspecting, evaluating, and certifying vehicles for roadworthiness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of automotive systems and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
  • Assess the function of critical systems including brakes, steering, and electrical systems.
  • Work closely with the service team to ensure timely repairs based on inspection outcomes.
  • Assist in training new inspectors on inspection procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Previous experience in automotive repair or inspection is required.
