Mixing and Blending Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled blending plant operator to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the blending process in our plant, ensuring that all products meet required quality standards and are produced efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Operate blending machines to mix and process raw materials according to specifications.
• Track and record blending activities and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Lead training sessions for new operators on machine operation and safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory management and product packaging as required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in manufacturing or related field is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience as a blending plant operator or in a related field

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Ability to operate machinery
• Basic math skills
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of GMPs

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience leading and training other blending plant operators: Demonstrated ability to guide and mentor less experienced staff.
• Experience with inventory management software: Familiarity with tools used for tracking inventory and production data.
