Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Check Weigher to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain the check weighing machine to ensure accurate measurement and packaging of products. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality standards of our products and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Monitor weight and packing operations to guarantee accuracy.
• Maintain detailed logs of production quality data and machine performance.
• Conduct routine calibrations on check-weighing equipment.
• Assist in training new staff on the operation of machinery and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to resolve discrepancies in weight measurements.
• Implement corrective actions when necessary to address product quality issues.
• Participate in safety audits and quality assessments.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing roles.

Technical Skills

• Data recording and analysis
• Statistical process control

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in quality control processes: Familiarity with procedures that ensure product quality.
• Understanding of good manufacturing practices (GMP): Knowledge of GMP as it relates to product safety and quality.
