Shoe Machine Operator and Tender

Job Description

As a Shoe Machine Operator and Tender, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of lining materials across various structures. This role is crucial in ensuring that all projects meet quality standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation activities such as cleaning and sanding.
• Apply lining materials to various surfaces using appropriate techniques.
• Ensure proper curing and adhesion of lining layers.
• Inspect and repair damaged coating systems as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and solve coating-related issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of coating activities and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Continuously improve coating processes and suggest innovative solutions.
• Train and mentor junior lining layer technicians as required.
• Keep up-to-date with safety protocols related to lining and coating applications.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in coating application techniques is a plus

Experience

• Experience in the construction industry is desirable.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of lining materials
• Understanding of safety procedures
