Job Description

As a Monument Mason, you will be responsible for designing and constructing monuments and gravestones, working closely with a skilled team. This role involves managing projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to client specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and produce custom monument sketches based on client specifications.
  • Work with different materials and tools to fabricate monuments.
  • Oversee the installation of memorial stones in cemeteries.
  • Supervise junior staff and provide training on best practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to client inquiries.
  • Review and interpret architectural drawings and plans.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Maintain compliance with cemetery regulations and guidelines.
  • Manage project documentation and ensure records are kept properly.
  • Promote a team-oriented workplace focused on safety.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant vocational training preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in monument masonry

Languages
