  • Identify budgetary needs and manage the waste management budget.
  • Review staffing needs and implement workforce management strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management on waste management goals.
  • Coordinate emergency waste management responses for natural disasters.
  • Ensure ongoing staff development through training and performance assessments.
  • Encourage innovative solutions for waste disposal and recycling.
  • Monitor waste disposal sites and ensure the safety and effectiveness of operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Master's or advanced degree is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in waste management leadership roles
