Shredding Floor Equipment Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable Shredding Floor Equipment Operator to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will operate shredding machines, monitor shredding processes, and ensure safe and efficient operations for the destruction of confidential documents. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Execute the operation of shredding equipment for secure document disposal.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure proper functioning of the shredders.
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines to minimize workplace accidents.
• Participate in training regarding equipment handling and safety protocols.
• Manage paperwork and documentation related to shredding processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized shredding area to enhance workflow.
• Assist with team efforts in achieving operational efficiency.
• Help train new team members on operational procedures and safety measures.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent, some technical education preferred.

Experience

• Experience in operating industrial equipment is a significant advantage.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in operating heavy machinery

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Forklift Certification (preferred)

• Experience in document destruction or information management: Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of confidential documents.
