Job Description

As an IT Supervisor, you will oversee the Information Technology department, ensuring optimal operation of all systems and infrastructure. You will lead a team of IT professionals, collaborating with various departments to address technology needs and enhance our IT strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the IT department, ensuring all activities align with company objectives.
  • Conduct regular assessments of the IT infrastructure to identify any deficiencies.
  • Facilitate communication between IT and other business units.
  • Administer IT budget, ensuring all projects are executed within financial constraints.
  • Oversee the maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Implement best practices for IT security across the organization.
  • Train and develop staff to improve skills and productivity.
  • Evaluate and select service providers and contractors for IT projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding IT.
  • Report on IT department performance to upper management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications are an asset

  • 5+ years of experience in IT management or supervisory roles
