Job Description

We are seeking skilled Painting, Coating, and Decorating Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in wallcovering texture application, showcasing a strong attention to detail and the ability to create unique textures and finishes on various surfaces using different techniques and materials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean surfaces prior to texture application.
• Determine the amount of material needed based on surface area.
• Collaborate with designers to create specific effects and textures.
• Train and mentor junior workers on techniques and safety protocols.
• Solicit feedback from team leads on project quality and efficiency.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing and upcoming projects.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role preferred.

Technical Skills

• Texturing Techniques
• Tool Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Organizational Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in commercial projects: Background in managing larger scale projects is preferred.
• Leadership experience: Previous experience mentoring junior staff is an asset.
