Job Description

As an Asphalt Tile Floor Layer, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of asphalt and vinyl floor tiles. Your role will involve working in diverse settings, ensuring high-quality finishes in residential homes, commercial properties, and public facilities. Responsibilities

  • Follow precise guidelines for measuring and marking floor areas for tiles.
  • Prepare and clean all surfaces prior to tile laying.
  • Expertly mix adhesives to ensure strong tile bonding.
  • Efficiently cut tiles to fit complex layouts and designs.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards of installed tiles.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations during work.
  • Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
  • Work closely with the project team to meet deadlines.
  • Engage positively with clients, providing solutions to their inquiries.
  • Regularly update personal knowledge on industry advancements and materials.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in flooring installation or related field preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years of direct experience in flooring installation
