Job Description

As an Automotive Crane Driver, you will be pivotal in our operations, responsible for safely operating cranes and ensuring the efficient transport of heavy equipment and materials across job sites. This role requires a keen understanding of crane operation protocols, coupled with a commitment to safety and teamwork. Your ability to navigate and coordinate with site personnel will be critical in meeting project deadlines and maintaining high standards of safety.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate cranes to transport materials across various job sites.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards during operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance on crane equipment, including lubrication and cleaning.
  • Verify load weights and dimensions before lifting operations to ensure safety.
  • Assist in training junior operators and new team members on safe crane operation.
  • Work closely with site management to coordinate crane activities with overall project timelines.
  • Document all necessary reports and inspections concerning crane operation.
  • Proactively identify and address any potential safety hazards at the job site.
  • Engage in continuous learning and improvement regarding crane operations and safety measures.
  • Participate in emergency drills and safety training programs regularly.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certifications related to crane operation or safety
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
