As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and running cutting, punching, and pressing machines. You will ensure quality control and contribute to maintaining an organized and safe workspace.
Responsibilities
Calibrate machines before production runs to ensure accuracy.
Maintain a detailed log of machine operation and maintenance activities.
Identify and report any production issues to supervisors promptly.
Regularly participate in training and skill development programs.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure production goals are met.
Ensure compliance with company policies regarding safety and operational protocols.
Assist in setting up new machinery and equipment as needed.
Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an apprenticeship or training program preferred
Experience
2+ years in a similar machine operation role
