Tower Watchman

Job Description

As a Tower Watchman, you will play a critical role in maintaining the security of tower premises. You will be tasked with monitoring activities, deterring unauthorized access, and swiftly responding to emergency situations. Your vigilance will safeguard both personnel and property, ensuring a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible presence to deter criminal activity.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a comprehensive security strategy.
• Monitor and maintain security equipment, reporting any repairs needed.
• Engage with the local community to promote safety awareness.
• Assist with event security and crowd management when required.
• Enhance situational awareness by staying updated on security trends.
• Perform regular checks on alarm systems and report issues.
• Gather and report feedback on security measures from personnel.
• Participate in continuous professional development trainings.
• Lead training sessions on emergency protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience as a watchman or in similar roles is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Security systems proficiency
• Emergency response knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Adaptability

Certifications

• OSHA Certification (optional)
• Crisis management training (a plus)

Languages

• English: Fluent
