Job Description

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our team in Atlanta. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing various structural systems, ensuring they meet safety standards and client specifications. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in structural design and a passion for creating innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead structural design projects from concept through completion.
  • Review and approve designs and calculations prepared by team members.
  • Investigate structural failures and provide solutions to mitigate future risks.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure sustainability principles are integrated into design practices.
  • Participate in continuing education to enhance professional skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis
Technical Skills
  • Revit
  • Finite Element Analysis
Soft Skills
  • Communication Skills
  • Negotiation Skills
Certifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is a plus
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with BIM software: Hands-on experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools like Navisworks.
  • Proficiency in Load Calculation: Strong skills in performing load calculations and structural assessments.
