Job Description

Join us as the Director of Religious Activities and Education, responsible for creating and implementing impactful programs that foster spiritual growth and youth development. The ideal candidate will engage with diverse populations and cultivate a supportive environment for learning and growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and evaluation for youth programs.
• Foster an inclusive environment that welcomes diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff and volunteers.
• Advocate for the needs of the youth to the Executive Director and the board.
• Establish partnerships with local educational and religious institutions to enhance program offerings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Youth Development, Social Work, or related field
• Advanced degree in relevant fields is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience working with diverse populations including low-income and LGBTQIA+ youth

Technical Skills

• Event Planning

Certifications

• Certification in Non-Profit Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with grant writing and fundraising: Ability to secure funding for programs is highly valued.
