Job Description
As a Bakelite Molder, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining molding machines to produce Bakelite products in accordance with project specifications. The role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality.
Responsibilities
Operate Bakelite molding machines with precision to mold products.
Perform regular audits of production quality to ensure compliance with specifications.
Assist in troubleshooting machine malfunctions and performing minor repairs.
Maintain accurate records of production output and machine settings.
Work closely with the quality assurance team to achieve the highest standards.
Implement continuous improvement practices in the molding processes.
Ensure proper storage of molds and tools to maximize efficiency.
Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols.
Identify opportunities for process enhancements and provide feedback to management.
Support cross-training initiatives within the manufacturing team.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate's degree in a relevant technical field is preferred
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in plastic manufacturing and Bakelite molding
