Job Description

As a Bakelite Molder, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining molding machines to produce Bakelite products in accordance with project specifications. The role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Bakelite molding machines with precision to mold products.
  • Perform regular audits of production quality to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Assist in troubleshooting machine malfunctions and performing minor repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output and machine settings.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to achieve the highest standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement practices in the molding processes.
  • Ensure proper storage of molds and tools to maximize efficiency.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and provide feedback to management.
  • Support cross-training initiatives within the manufacturing team.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in a relevant technical field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in plastic manufacturing and Bakelite molding
Technical Skills

Languages
