Metal Works Inc. seeks an experienced Notcher to join our dedicated team in Albuquerque. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating notching machinery, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring high-quality metal fabrication standards.

Responsibilities

• Control the cutting process for accurate notching of metal materials.
• Collaborate with engineers to refine notching techniques.
• Utilize CNC machinery for precise cutting operations.
• Document production data and report discrepancies.
• Support the safety program by adhering to guidelines.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of new production staff.
• Perform final inspections of notched materials.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in welding or machinery operation is preferred

Experience

• Experience in metal fabrication is highly desirable

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• SolidWorks

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• CNC Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Advanced Machinery Operation: Experience in operating complex machinery is preferred.
