Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Forest Fire Suppression Specialist to oversee fire prevention and suppression efforts. You will assess fire risks, execute fire management plans, and lend your leadership skills to a dedicated team focused on protecting our forests and communities.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and manage fire incidents effectively.
  • Coordinate with various departments to improve response strategies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop fire management plans.
  • Participate in fire drills and safety briefings.
  • Support community education efforts on fire safety and prevention.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Wildland Fire Management preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in forest or wildland fire suppression.

Certifications
  • Wildland Firefighter Type 1 (FFT1)
