Job Description

As a Security Guard at XYZ Security Services, you will be responsible for monitoring and protecting our clients' properties and individuals. Your primary role will involve conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Actively patrol assigned areas to deter criminal activity.
• Control access to premises and ensure security compliance.
• Log suspicious activities and maintain detailed security reports.
• Assist in emergency situations and conduct first aid if necessary.
• Keep an eye on surveillance equipment and perform regular checks.
• Engage with visitors and employees to foster a secure environment.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on security practices.
• Manage incidents professionally, following company protocols.
• Advise management on potential security risks and concerns.
• Ensure that all security equipment is operational and report malfunctions.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience working as a security guard or in a related field is preferred.

Technical Skills

• CCTV systems
• Access control systems

Certifications

• Valid security guard license/certification
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience with surveillance systems: Hands-on experience with CCTV and alarm systems.
