As a Sewing Techniques Demonstrator, you will play a vital role in educating individuals on various sewing techniques, from basic stitching to advanced garment construction. This position involves both teaching and demonstrating sewing techniques in an engaging way, ensuring that participants gain confidence and skills in their sewing endeavors.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate sewing techniques, including hand stitching, machine sewing, and embroidery.
• Create instructional materials and resources to assist in lessons.
• Conduct sewing workshops and events to engage with the community.
• Evaluate student performance and adjust instructional methods as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
• Facilitate group discussions to foster a collaborative learning environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in sewing and garment construction
