Job Description

As a Passenger Attendant, you will be responsible for attending to passengers in the chair car section of our trains, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey. This includes greeting passengers, assisting with luggage, and providing information about the journey.

Responsibilities

  • Check tickets and assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the train.
  • Provide regular updates to passengers about train schedules and amenities.
  • Ensure passenger safety by following safety procedures and responding to emergencies appropriately.
  • Clean and maintain the seating area and restrooms to ensure a pleasant environment for passengers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Train Manager or Conductor.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or transportation industry preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Customer Service
  • Multi-tasking

Advantageous

  • Experience in a multi-cultural environment: Ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Foreign language skills: Ability to communicate in additional languages is a plus.
  • Experience with emergency situation handling: Comfortable making decisions in high-pressure situations.
