Job Description

We are actively seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate pharmacist to join our thriving pharmacy practice in Philadelphia. In this role, you will provide essential medication management, collaborate with healthcare providers, and deliver excellent patient care. Your expertise will help us ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescribed medications and ensure accuracy in dosages.
  • Counsel patients regarding the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy for patients.
  • Conduct medication therapy reviews and assessments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Participate in health fairs and patient education programs to promote medication safety.
  • Monitor patient medication therapies to ensure safety and effectiveness.
  • Lead initiatives to improve pharmacy operations and patient experiences.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Board certification in pharmacy practice (BCPP) preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience as a pharmacist, preferably in a hospital setting
