Job Description

We are actively seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate pharmacist to join our thriving pharmacy practice in Philadelphia. In this role, you will provide essential medication management, collaborate with healthcare providers, and deliver excellent patient care. Your expertise will help us ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with established standards.
  • Educate patients on the importance of medication adherence and safety.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to address medication-related needs.
  • Participate in medication reconciliation processes during patient admissions and discharges.
  • Help manage pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage of drugs.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote health and wellness.
  • Implement and adhere to pharmacy policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
  • Board certification in pharmacy practice (BCPP) preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience as a pharmacist, preferably in a hospital setting
