Rehabilitation Counselor

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Rehabilitation Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will facilitate group therapy sessions for individuals dealing with mental health issues, develop treatment plans, and provide support to clients as they work toward their recovery goals.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate therapeutic group sessions.
• Develop individualized treatment strategies with measurable outcomes.
• Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to strategies.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic approaches.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to clients and families.
• Document treatment modalities and progress accurately.
• Support the recruitment and supervision of interns and volunteers.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Advocate for patients' rights and needs within the healthcare system.
• Participate in case reviews and team meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in related field is required.

Experience

• Experience facilitation group therapy sessions preferred.
