Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee strategic planning efforts for the county's future growth.
  • Directly manage department heads and ensure seamless operation across all services.
  • Lead initiatives that promote community engagement and feedback.
  • Establish and promote a positive work culture within the county administration.
  • Monitor county performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Negotiate with external organizations and vendors to foster collaborative partnerships.
  • Lead crisis management initiatives during emergencies or public concerns.
  • Advise the Board of Commissioners on policy and operational issues.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the Board and other stakeholders.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
  • Budget Management Proficient in managing large budgets with fiscal accountability.
  • Strategic Planning Skilled in developing long-term strategies and goals.
  • Regulatory Compliance Knowledgeable about government regulations and compliance.
  • Leadership Exceptional leader with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Communication Adept at communicating with diverse audiences effectively.
  • Problem-solving Expertise in analyzing issues and developing effective solutions.
  • English (Fluent)
