We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction and Building Inspector to join our dynamic team in Houston. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects comply with local safety standards and regulations, providing our clients with the utmost assurance of quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and inspect construction materials for quality assurance.
• Prepare clear and precise reports that outline the inspection process and findings.
• Work with teams to facilitate compliance with safety practices on site.
• Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders to ensure alignment on safety standards.
• Conduct periodic reviews of inspection procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Utilize relevant software tools for record-keeping and analysis.
• Participate in the continual improvement process for inspection protocols.
• Assist with the onboarding and training of new inspectors.
• Lead safety workshops and training sessions on inspection protocols and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Certification in construction safety is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction or building inspection
