Job Description

As an Agricultural Engineering Technologist, you will design and develop cutting-edge engineering solutions for agricultural machinery. Collaborating with scientists and farmers, you will work on projects that enhance productivity and sustainability in farming.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient engineering solutions tailored for agricultural systems.
• Analyze performance data and feedback from stakeholders to improve designs.
• Work closely with teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and adherence to budget.
• Conduct field testing of new equipment and techniques.
• Draft and revise project proposals, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality in materials and equipment.
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to drive innovation in agricultural practices.
• Implement best practices for sustainability and environmental management.
• Monitor and analyze industry trends to inform product development.
• Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the agricultural or mechanical engineering sectors.

• Certified Agricultural Engineer (CAE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
