Loan Broker

Job Description

As a Loan Broker, you'll connect borrowers with lenders, guiding clients through the loan process to help them secure financing. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and the ability to assess creditworthiness to present optimal loan options.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify competitive loan products.
• Assist clients in preparing for loan interviews and negotiations.
• Provide post-loan services including follow-ups and additional support.
• Implement marketing strategies to promote loan products and services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
• Loan officer license or certification strongly preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in underwriting or loan processing preferred.

Technical Skills

• Ability to assess creditworthiness and financial statements
• Strong network of referral sources

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Proven track record of successful loan closings

Certifications

• Certified Mortgage Advisor (CMA)
• NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) License

Languages

• English: Fluent
