Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Tinsmith Helper to join our dedicated team. This role involves assisting experienced tinsmiths in fabricating and installing sheet metal products across various applications. If you have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and prepare sheet metal in accordance with technical drawings.
• Safely operate machinery such as drills and shears.
• Support the installation of sheet metal components, ensuring proper fit and finish.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Assist with minor equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Inspect and evaluate products for signs of defects.
• Keep track of material supplies and assist with restocking.
• Offer support to Tinsmiths and other skilled tradespeople as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED

Experience

• Prior experience in sheet metal work or construction is preferred

Technical Skills

• Metalworking Tools
• Blueprint Reading

• Strong Work Ethic
• Effective Communication

Languages

• English: Basic

Advantageous
