Job Description

As a Mental Health Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing assessment, treatment planning, and counseling for clients facing mental health challenges. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver the best possible care.

Responsibilities

  • Assess individual client needs and establish effective treatment plans.
  • Deliver effective counseling and psychoeducation to clients and families.
  • Collaborate on care strategies with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers.
  • Support clients with daily living tasks, enhancing their self-sufficiency.
  • Document client progress and engagement in therapy sessions accurately.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies when required.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
  • Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the healthcare system.
  • Participate in performance assessments and peer reviews to improve care delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling)
  • Master's degree in Mental Health or related field is preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a mental health setting
