Panel Installer

Job Description

As a Panel Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar panels in various residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate should have experience with electrical systems and be comfortable working at heights. This role requires a high level of physical fitness and adaptability to changing weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations of solar panel systems on various structures.
• Test and inspect systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Communicate effectively with customers during installations.
• Document all installation processes and customer interactions.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and share feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all job sites.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in solar technology is preferred

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in solar installation

Technical Skills

• Hand and Power Tools Proficiency
• Safety Practices Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Valid Driver's License
• OSHA Certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working with Inverters: Hands-on experience with inverters and battery storage systems.
• Mechanical Skills: Ability to understand mechanical components relevant to solar systems.
