Job Description

We're seeking dedicated Respiratory Therapists to evaluate and treat patients with respiratory ailments in a dynamic healthcare setting. You will work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of patients’ respiratory conditions and respond appropriately.
  • Deliver respiratory therapy treatments, including mechanical ventilation and aerosol therapy.
  • Maintain and operate medical equipment used in respiratory care.
  • Engage in continuous communication with physicians regarding patient care plans.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in respiratory therapy.
  • Assist in the development of protocols to improve respiratory therapy practices.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice.
  • Mentor junior therapists and support staff in best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy
Technical Skills
  • Nebulizers and CPAP Machines
  • Patient Assessment Techniques

Certifications
  • Advanced Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (if applicable)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
Languages
  • English: Fluent

  • Advanced certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT-ACCS, RRT-NPS): Preferred advanced certifications for specialized practice.
  • Experience with mechanical ventilation: Hands-on experience managing patients on mechanical ventilation.
