Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Etcher and Engraver to join our manufacturing team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing work areas and equipment for the acid etching process, ensuring high-quality production outcomes, and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the acid etching process, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of substrates and adjust etching parameters to optimize results.
• Document production data and maintain quality assurance logs.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to resolve any product discrepancies.
• Support training efforts for new team members on best practices for etching.
• Adapt techniques and methods in response to changing production demands.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Metalworking or a related trade is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in metalworking or acid etching processes

Technical Skills

• Chemical Safety
• Etching Equipment Operation

• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Lean Manufacturing Experience: Experience with continuous improvement methodologies for efficiency.
