Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Machine Rigger to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently installing, moving, and maintaining machinery and equipment in accordance with industry standards. Strong mechanical skills and a focus on safety are essential.

Responsibilities

• Secure heavy machinery during transport to prevent damage.
• Ensure proper lifting techniques are applied to minimize risk of injury.
• Assist with the installation of new equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
• Respond promptly to rigging emergencies and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in rigging is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in machine rigging or related field

Technical Skills

• CNC Machine Experience
• CAD Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Physical Stamina

Certifications

• Rigger Certification
• Safety Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of blueprints and schematics: Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematics for rigging plans.
• First Aid/CPR Certification: Having First Aid or CPR certifications is a plus.
