Job Description

The Plating Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender will be responsible for operating and maintaining flow solder machines, ensuring that finished products not only meet but exceed quality standards. Ideal candidates will have attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of flow solder machines during shifts.
• Conduct routine checks and fill out maintenance logs.
• Work closely with quality control inspectors to meet production goals.
• Assist with inventory management of materials used in the plating process.
• Support team members with other production tasks as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing role

Technical Skills

• Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
• Automated Optical Inspection (AOI)

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Automated Equipment: Hands-on experience operating automated machines on the production floor.
• Knowledge of Industry Standards: Understanding of IPC-A-610 standards for electronic assembly.
