Job Description

As a Nuclear Power Reactor Operator, you'll ensure the efficient and safe operation of nuclear reactors. You'll monitor operations, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with plant personnel to uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and maintain reactor equipment.
• Analyze reactor data to identify trends and anomalies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance plant safety.
• Document all operational changes and incidents.
• Stay up to date with regulatory changes affecting operations.
• Improve operational efficiencies through innovative practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience working in nuclear power plants

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of nuclear physics
• SCADA systems

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Pressure Handling

Certifications

• Nuclear Plant Operator License
• Emergency response training certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in reactor start-up/shutdown procedures: In-depth knowledge of safe procedures for reactor operations.
