Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer based in Dallas to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of architectural engineering design principles, construction methods, and project management. You will be responsible for designing and analyzing structures, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes while collaborating with architects and other engineers on innovative projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead structural design projects from conception to completion.
  • Utilize modeling software to create accurate design representations.
  • Mentor junior engineers and interns in best practices.
  • Communicate project progress and challenges to management.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze project data to inform future engineering decisions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
  • Graduate degree in a related field is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering projects
Technical Skills
  • ETABS
  • MATLAB
Soft Skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Leadership
Certifications
  • Certified Engineering Technician (CET)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
Languages
  • English: Fluent
