Job Description

We are seeking skilled Hoist and Winch Operators to join our team! As a Chute Operator, you'll oversee the movement of materials through chutes, ensuring efficient operation in a dynamic environment. Candidates with experience in manufacturing or construction are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Control the movement of materials through chutes effectively.
• Engage actively in safety programs and sessions.
• Inspect and report chute conditions and performance issues.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and ensuring it is in good working order.
• Prevent operational issues by monitoring material flow.
• Work together with team members to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct minor repairs on chutes as required.
• Document all maintenance activities and accidents.
• Comply with local and federal waste management regulations.
• Attend regular training for skill enhancement.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience operating chutes or similar equipment in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Material handling

Certifications

• Forklift operator certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with heavy machinery operation: Knowledge of operating forklifts or other heavy machinery.
