Counter and Rental Clerks

Job Description

We are currently seeking Counter and Rental Clerks who are passionate about providing excellent customer service. Ideal candidates will manage equipment rentals, assist customers with inquiries, and streamline rental agreements to ensure satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for customers seeking equipment rentals.
• Process rental applications and maintain up-to-date inventory information.
• Schedule and coordinate rental logistics in a timely manner.
• Educate customers on the safe use of equipment and troubleshooting.
• Compile and maintain reports on rental transactions and customer feedback.
• Assist in marketing efforts by promoting rental specials and new equipment.
• Work closely with rental technicians to ensure equipment is serviced and ready for rentals.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in equipment rental or related industry

• Sales Acumen
• Basic Mechanical Skills

• Interpersonal Skills
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Digital Marketing: Understanding of social media and online marketing strategies to promote equipment rentals.
• OSHA Certification: Possession of OSHA safety certification is preferred.
