Job Description

The Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) Coordinator is crucial in overseeing the effective implementation and maintenance of the PPAP process. You'll work closely with teams to ensure that production parts are submitted and approved for various projects, facilitating smooth operations and compliance with quality regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PPAP process ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
• Review and approve PPAP documentation submitted by suppliers.
• Develop and implement training programs on the PPAP process for new hires.
• Ensure PPAP compliance with customer-specific requirements.
• Report metrics to management on a regular basis.
• Improve existing processes to optimize efficiency.
• Assist in quality audits related to the PPAP process.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on product changes affecting PPAP.
• Analyze root causes of PPAP failures and develop solutions.
• Facilitate cross-departmental meetings to discuss PPAP updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering or related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in PPAP coordination or quality management
