Job Description

The Eligibility Interviewer will take charge of managing and coordinating essential disability programs within Government Solutions Inc. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure effective collaboration among employees, management, and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will assess and evaluate employees’ accommodation needs while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of accommodation needs for employees with disabilities.
  • Develop tailored accommodation plans and communicate effectively with all parties.
  • Advise and support HR and management on disability matters.
  • Coordinate engagements with external service providers.
  • Ensure all documentation regarding accommodations is maintained and up to date.
  • Monitor compliance with disability-related laws and advocate for necessary changes.
  • Provide expert guidance during accommodation discussions.
  • Lead workshops focusing on disability awareness to foster an inclusive environment.
  • Engage in research initiatives to improve disability support systems.
  • Stay current with best practices in disability management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field
  • Certification in Disability Management is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in disability management or a related field
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of disability laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with HR information systems
Soft Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive information
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
Languages
  • English: Fluent
