Job Description

As a CT Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in producing detailed images of patients' internal structures. Your technical skills, along with your ability to put patients at ease, are essential as you prepare them for procedures and interpret their individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct CT scans, ensuring adherence to established protocols and best practices.
  • Provide clear instructions to patients and address their concerns to alleviate anxiety.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of imaging processes, making necessary adjustments as required.
  • Review diagnostic images to confirm quality before presenting them to radiologists.
  • Prepare reports and documentation, including patient history and examination information.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Advise on imaging techniques and practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the radiology team in managing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Engage in patient education regarding imaging procedures and health maintenance.
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with specific experience in performing CT scans.
