Plating Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders, Metal and Plastic

Job Description

We are looking for skilled Plating Machine Operators to set up and operate impregnation equipment for metal and plastic plating processes. The successful candidate will ensure that all processes are executed according to established quality standards and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent quality of plated products through meticulous attention to detail.
• Adjust equipment settings based on production needs and quality specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of products to confirm compliance with standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Document production logs and submit daily reports to supervisors.
• Engage in safety training and adhere to safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates or technical degree in a relevant discipline preferred

Experience

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar industries preferred

Technical Skills

• Calipers and Micrometers
• Lean Manufacturing Principles

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a regulated manufacturing environment: Experience working in industries where compliance is critical.
