Adhesive Bonding Machine Operator and Tender

Job Description

As an Adhesive Bonding Machine Operator and Tender, you'll be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of our box lining machines. Your attention to detail, manual dexterity, and adherence to safety protocols will ensure our production goals are met consistently. This role is fundamental in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our packaging process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular machine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Train junior operators in safe and effective machine use.
• Work with the production manager to plan and prioritize production schedules.
• Ensure all safety guards and emergency stops are in working order.
• Assist with the operational setup of new machinery or upgrades.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in quality control processes to uphold product standards.
• Manage machine downtime effectively to reduce impact on production.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay updated on efficient operating practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Experience

• Prior experience in adhesive bonding operations is advantageous but not required.
