Furniture Finisher

Job Description

We're searching for a Furniture Finisher to add to our talented team. You will be responsible for ensuring our furniture pieces are beautifully finished and prepared for final quality checks, collaborating with fellow artisans every step of the way.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wood surfaces by sanding and cleaning prior to finishing.
• Mix and apply stains, paints, and other finishes according to specifications.
• Inspect each piece for defects and ensure the highest quality standards.
• Keep an organized workspace and proper maintenance of tools and machinery.
• Work closely with woodworkers and upholsterers to ensure seamless production.
• Document daily work activities and report on progress to the Production Manager.
• Attend training sessions to advance skills and knowledge in woodworking technologies.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a vocational or technical program in woodworking or carpentry preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in furniture finishing
