School Psychologist

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate School Psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will evaluate students' psychological and educational needs, offer counseling services, and work closely with family and school personnel to devise effective strategies that help students thrive.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychological evaluations and summarize findings for reports.
• Design and implement school-wide mental health promotion programs.
• Work alongside special education staff to ensure compliance with IEPs and 504 plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during critical incidents.
• Review and update educational materials on mental health for staff and students.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
• Doctorate in Psychology is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a school setting preferred

Certifications

• Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP)
• Licensed Psychologist (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Master's degree in counseling or related field: A degree in counseling can enhance therapeutic skills.
