Job Description

The Lime Slaker will be responsible for operating and maintaining the lime slaking equipment for the production of hydrated lime. The role requires a strong understanding of lime slaking processes and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the lime slaking unit operates effectively and safely.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure product quality meets specifications.
• Keep detailed records of production statistics and equipment status.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform repairs as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
• Train new employees on equipment operation and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma required, additional certifications preferred

Experience

• Experience with lime slaking equipment maintenance and repair is a plus.
