Job Description

Join our team and take the lead as a Crushing, Grinding, and Polishing Machine Setter, Operator, or Tender. In this position, you'll be responsible for overseeing equipment performance, conducting maintenance checks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your role is essential in streamlining our operations in the recycling industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor shredding equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
• Sort and prepare materials for shredding.
• Maintain and clean the shredding equipment regularly.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment issues when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations.
• Report any malfunctions or abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Record and maintain production logs and data.
• Follow proper waste disposal procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
• Train new employees on equipment operation and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience as a Shredder Operator or in a similar role is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Machine operation

Certifications

• Valid forklift operator certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the recycling industry: Familiarity with different types of materials and their shredding requirements.
