Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Watch Crystal Cutter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precision cutting and shaping of watch crystals. You will ensure that every crystal meets our high standards of quality and accuracy, collaborating closely with other watchmaking professionals to achieve the perfect fit for our timepieces.

Responsibilities

• Cut and shape various types of watch crystals according to specifications.
• Perform quality checks on finished products and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain compliance with safety and manufacturing regulations.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and challenges.
• Support cross-functional teams with technical input and expertise.
• Document processes for reference and training purposes.

Requirements

Education

• Additional certifications in watchmaking techniques is a plus

Experience

• Prior experience in a high-volume production environment is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Manual dexterity
• Knowledge of watchmaking processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with advanced cutting techniques: Familiarity with the latest in watch crystal cutting technology and methods.
• Knowledge of different crystal materials such as sapphire or mineral glass: Understanding of various crystal materials and their properties.
