Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Machinery Mechanic to operate, maintain, and repair our specialized Linotype machines in a fast-paced printing environment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring efficient production and high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot Linotype machinery to maintain printing flow.
• Maintain all machinery in compliance with safety standards.
• Set up equipment and prepare for production runs.
• Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as necessary.
• Identify and record maintenance needs and order necessary parts.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during operations.
• Collaborate with the production team to streamline processes.
• Provide input on machinery upgrades and replacements.
• Assist with training and mentoring of new mechanics.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology is a plus

Experience

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
