Job Description

As a Litigation Secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team by managing litigation cases. Your responsibilities will include preparing and filing legal documents, organizing case files, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing and filing legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage case files, and keep records up to date with relevant information and documents.
  • Schedule and coordinate depositions, meetings, and other legal proceedings.
  • Proactively communicate with clients and gather necessary information.
  • Conduct legal research and compile findings into organized reports.
  • Assist attorneys during trials by preparing documents and evidence.
  • Handle billing processes and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Facilitate office communication and provide support to legal teams.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics in all matters.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Paralegal certificate highly desirable
